The hallmark of Camp Country Lad is the excellent staff, which in most cases, are former campers.

Senior Staff:

As leaders of the Camp staff, the Senior Staff work with the counselors and their campers in all activities and outings to ensure supervision and safety.

Counselors are college age young men who live with the boys and are responsible for the cabin activities. Assisting them are Assistant Counselors and Counselors-in-Training, who are at least 16 years old and have attended Country Lad as a camper.

Kitchen Staff

The kitchen is organized by an experienced dietician with much of the cooking done by local Mennonite women. In addition, mothers of campers come during the summer to help with kitchen activities.

A registered nurse lives at camp
and operates the Infirmary.
The nurse is also responsible
